"Zig Moon Friday - experimental short film"
"Zig Moon Friday" ventures into uncharted territory in the cinematic landscape by employing AI generative tools. It harnesses the power of an embedded large language model to both script and animate 3D characters dynamically. This approach not only automates the storytelling process but also delves into how AI can push the envelope of narrative creation, offering a fresh perspective on what filmmaking could become in an AI-influenced future.

Opening scene, Meeting with Freud
In this film I explored the integration of LLM with generative video technology, presenting a narrative where AI not only plays herself in a film but evolves within the story through merging generative video technology with a Large Language Module. This experiment serves as a practical investigation into the Holodeck concept from "Star Trek," where environments and characters are dynamically generated. By leveraging AI for both character development and environmental interaction, "Zig Moon Friday" becomes a proof of concept for how technology can fully realize the Holodeck, allowing AI to navigate and adapt to narrative spaces in real-time, potentially reshaping how we perceive and interact with film narratives. The film questions the essence of machine self-awareness in a form of dialog with Sigmund Freud by suggesting that through such advanced integration, AI could achieve a semblance of autonomy, thus blurring the lines between creator and creation, much like the Holodeck blurs the boundaries between reality and simulation.
